National Grant Program Funds Health Professional Students Promoting Substance Abuse Training
The national organization Health Professional Students for Substance Abuse Training (HPSSAT) invites all health professional students to apply for the HPSSAT Local Grants Program, a new initiative encouraging health professional students to develop projects enhancing education in alcohol and substance abuse at their institutions. Under the HPSSAT Local Grants Program, students must be enrolled at accredited health professional schools in the United States and a member of HPSSAT (click here to join). Applicants will design and implement projects promoting
the need for more substance abuse training for healthcare professionals. Students may apply by submitting the
required proposal and budget via e-mail to under a rolling deadline.
